Bird Deterrent System (BDS)

Offshore environments attract seabirds, and their presence on helidecks can compromise safety, hygiene and operations. Our optional BDS package provides an effective, non-harmful deterrent, using advanced bio-acoustic technology that emits natural bird distress calls to keep decks clear.

A complete HMS setup typically includes sensors for:

• Wind speed and direction, temperature, pressure, humidity
• Deck inclination, heave, roll, and pitch
• Visibility and cloud height readings
• Integrated pre-flight and on-deck displays for pilots
